Unknown training hand grenade

Hey guys,

I came across this tiny specimen. Made from one piece of wood. Diameter is 65mm, lenght about 125 mm.
It really reminds me to the wooden stick handgrenades which were very common for throwing exercises since WW1 up to the 60ies.
But that one look more like a wooden trainer for the german Eihandgranate 39.
So I have many ideas what it could be and what it couldn't be.

Is there anybody around who KNOWS what this is or who has any other pictures, links, sources to be sure?

yep, got the idea before but you'll agree that these are different from the specimen above. I am looking for a proof that definitely says what it is.... not to mention the ring which is typical for the Ei 39
Anyway tks for the input
