I have two more rounds without a definite identification. The first is a 25x110mm rimed case with an armor piercing solid steel projectile. It has a groove around the cartridge case which I am thinking says it is a practice round. There are no markings on the projectile or the case. The second round is all aluminum with a steel insert. The marking on the projectile is MANIP. PATR., which I understand. Is there a model number to it and what country made it? My dimensions may be a little off.

Hi Bob, I can't help you with an ID but just to confirm I used to have an identical 25x110 round, same case type (but tarnished a lot more), same style primer, same projectile, same groove around the case, also no markings.
Dave.

Interesting cartridges.
Can you give any or all dimensions of both rounds?
MANIP. PATR. could possibly be Swiss.

The second round looks like a 24 x139mm Manip. Patr. dummy for the Swiss Tankbüchse 41 antitank rifle.

Sorry about the lack of dimensions. Should know better!! One the brass cased round: Rim diameter is 39mm, head diameter is 35mm, neck OD is 27mm. The solid aluminum training round: rim diameter is 31mm, head diameter is 32mm, neck OD is 25mm, projectile diameter is 24mm. Suspected this round was a 24mm Swiss round, but had no round to compare it to.

I found this same Swiss 24 x 139 AT Dummy in my collection. The dimensions you gave at the start were wrong and this shown the importance of correct dimensions when asking a question.
This Dummy also exists with a groove or thin knurl on the body.

So now we have two frustrated collectors.

In my initial post I erroneously did not give dimensions of the aluminum round. The dimensions were for the other round shown. So aside from my error in omission, I think you made an error also.

Please do not take offence as I loved your items and please shown more of them.
I meant the caption dimensions for the 23mm under your first photo so yes I made an error. Your dimensions were for the first unknown shell as stated.
If I could have seen the actual engraving on the projectile I could ID it instantly and helped you.
There was an experimental Swiss 23mm round and this confused me.

I show 2 Swiss Dummy 24 x 139 AT rounds. I only have the one like yours. Cheers. Ron.
