unusual 106mmm RCL

This projectile appears to be a 106mm HEAT. It is stamped 106mm-NR205 MMJ-1-3-80. However I cannot find any reference to a HEAT round with the copper driving band, they are all fin stabilised. Has anyone seen one like this before or can they provide any information. Im wondering if it has been assembled from parts of different projectiles.

It is empty and inert by the way

The 105mm RR HEAT projectile from WWII was a reworked 105 Howitzer HEAT projectile that had a pre-engraved rotating band. Your version seems to be a transition piece to the newer style body using the old band instead of fins.
