Unusual 2 inch mortar rounds

These were seen at Detling on Fjordhouses stall,,, Look like the normal practice rounds but with cut down tails and rounded off nose sections, anyone got any other info on them ..

Its only a thought but could they have been modified to allow additional incremental charges to be fitted?

2" mortars did not use "increments" it was just a propellent charge (28 ga. blank type cartridge). It could have been something that was done locally for local unit training or by "bubba". The "nose" cones are rounded and not squared like the originals either. I have not seen anything like it before, I would think that they would have been modified by someone other than an official agency.
