Found this old thread started by Wicher and answerd by Quatemass. Reguarding a 12 Pounder 12 CWT Drill Round.

I have just received a 4 inch Mk. 16 Drill round with similar nose plug markings.

The photo below is of the nose fuze plug on the 4 inch.
