Looking for any more info on this lot, the one on the far right is a French F1 I think, the rest are US, blues are trainers. What is the first one, the green with #3? Looking for models and years of them. Thanks
1. Early variant MK II using a modified MK I body.
2. MK II practice using an HE body that was threaded on the bottom for a plug although the lever appears to be for a different grenade.
3. Novelty grenade body fitted for the M228 fuze, not an actual service item.
4. Could be a late M21 practice body or a novelty body that someone has painted. See if the fuze from #3 fits and if it does it's a novelty.
5. F1 body. Various countries used it.
Thanks Mike, The fuze from #3 does not fit, threads are not right. I noticed that the lever was different than any US one I had ever seen, all the US ones I saw are curved, that one is a straight lever. I paid $60. for the whole lot, and cardboard case for the violet smoke grenade. Is that about right for them?
Great glad to hear I got a deal on them. I did get some great deals that day, I was buying things just because they were going cheap that day. I wasn't sure of the price on them but thought 60. seemed more than fair for the lot, German grenades are my main field of interest.
