Does anyone have information on the T-56 time fuze dated 1943. The fuze is made from the M-103 impactfuze with on top a mechanical airburst fuze.

not for flare bombs the fuze is made out of the M-103 point detonating fuze which comes with a high explosive booster, I asume it is a expirimental airburst fuze for high explosive bombs only I can''
t find any data of it.

The T-56 is identical to the M135/135A1 and M136A1 with minor modifications and was used in all GP-bombs, 4000lb L.C. AN-M56, also maybe found in 90lb & 260lb frag; 500lb &1000lb chemical.
Time range of the M135 = 5-92 seconds; M136= 5-30.6 seconds.
The fuze is a combination of the M11 A2 time nose fuze with the lower part of the AN-M103.
If you need further detailed info, I gave Ben a copy of it, it is the OP 1664, Volume 2.
