Did the US make 18 pdr cases as well as the No 85 fuze?

They did during the first world war. You'll find cases made by Bethlehem steel corporation (BSC), American locomotive company (ALCO) and Remington etc.

They made millions of them. Sometimes I think I see more of the US made ones than ones made here in the UK. It is probably about 1/2 and 1/2.
