US wartime 20mm Hispano Projectile

Pictured is what a think is a US 20mm Hispano (20x110) incendiary projectile. I think the paint is original but I am sure that our US members will put me right! The driving band is marked 20mm M98 (poor stamping, could be 6) 45 and 148. There is also a potential makers headstamp of IAL or IHL again indistinct. Very glad to have your views.

Potential information - identification:

U.S., loading for: Hispano/Suiza Aircraft Gun M1-M3, Percussion Ignition (possible later production included loading for HS Aircraft Gun M24 Electric Ignition), Incendiary, M96 Cartridge, Light Blue Nose, Gray (ish) Body.
