Did my Boot Camp tour in San Diego. Trained on the earlier version, prior to its upgrading to FFG from the DE. Nice to see they haven't decommissioned(scrapped) it. Yet.

To add to Rick's post, Liberty Station is a de-commissioned US Navy base, presently used for a lot of shopping and eating. It still has barracks' numbers on the buildings.

I am pleased to inform you that Rick's alma mater is now a very small museum, they allow people inside but it is only 1 room.
