UXO awareness training - possible assistance required

I have been asked to give an estimated cost for the delivery of a 1 day basic UXO awareness package to members of a Police force in the NW of England.
I would like to broaden the remit to include some awareness of those who collect inert ordnance and possibly include a presentation given under the auspices of BOCN.

I have a few points for starters -
1. My company has a small collection of inert items and a varied range of live products but we would require a representative range of British and foreign ordnance for the day. Could any member(s) assist? (No date/time/venue set as yet - it will be during the working week and it will be in the NW of England probably in the Lancaster area).

2. Would anyone from BOCN be prepared to speak on the general topic of Ordnance Collecting? It must be a "broad church" presentation giving an overview of the hobby rather than a more detailed talk on specific natures etc.



My costings will include mileage and subsistence rates for any BOCN member who could assist.

Despite that many uf us may be too far to give support I appreciate very much that somebody is doing it this way and that researchers and collectors will be condisered.
Unfortunately this is almost nowhere happening and many in our community get a wrong treatment once things get to the point where authorities are getting involved.

Well spotted sir..I didnt want to exclude any BOCN member from offering their help. A quick calculation at 45 pence per mile would rake you in 3804 pounds UK ( for the return journey) plus hotel accomodation.
