V-40 Grenades

Here's the ones I have that may be of interest. I don't know much about these things so if anyone has any ideas of the different versions particularly the one with the different frag pattern I'd be interested in finding out.
Measurements are approximate.
All INERT.
Dave.

General view of all 5.

4 types including variations in frag type and 2 neck diameters (roughly 9mm and 12mm measured internally).

12mm diameter hole. The neck doesn't have a screw thread. The frag pattern appears to be completely different to all the rest.

12mm diameter hole. Screw thread - the one with the lever - stamping on base. HE version.

9mm diameter hole. Screw thread. Inert filled to correct weight. Prac version.

On a slightly different note, I have never seen a factory illustration on how the adapter works. Does anyone have a flyer or factory diagram? I've only seen 5-6 total, and they were always set up the same as mine, with no indication of a set-back sleeve etc.

This is the only NWM Factory Info I have seen for the adapter assembly. Shows a fused grenade being used.

Stay Safe,

Frank

Good info, but it shows everything except the part we need to see - Nice document though. At least I have a nomenclature now.

Here are some of my different frag patterns. I always felt that the unfinished (no threads) items like you have were probably QC rejects, due to cracks in the necks. Some of mine as well.
