This is a piece of V2 Rocket i have ,It is part of the Steering fin (see cutaway picture circled in red)It appears to be made of some sort of carbon composition and is very light for its size

Just re-found these images of V2 split into two,even then it still looked huge

So do i and that V2 is going to be moved to the Royal Engineers museum in the near future

Graphite !

I believe the exact material is "Graphite" as in pencil lead !
