Vietnam practice MKII

Here is an interesting grenade recently bought. It is a practice MKII with M10A3 fuze on a MKII pineapple dated '68.....Dano

That 68 is not the year, Dano, it is the lot number. You will not find an M10 series spoon with year, always is the lot number.

I guess you learn something new every day. Would this also be a lot number then? Dano

Hi Dano, yes, the "68" is a lot number, not a date as Miguel has mentioned already.

US WW2 fuzes were not dated.

This one you show is the same thing, not a date. Just a coincidence that has "1 44"

"EK" is the Eastman-Kodak company, same company from the camera fame.
