Have recently visited the Vienna Army Museum especially to see the Sarajevo exhibits, and found to my horror that that and the WW1 section are both closed for refurbishment.
There is no warning on the museum website. Disgraceful. Other people there last week were just a disgruntled.
This was my main reason for going to Vienna and traveled 1000 miles plus had flight and hotel costs.
New exhibition opens on June 29 which is the day WW1 started for the Austrians.
I have written to them to complain.
