What are these tins for?

I've had 2 of these tins for a couple of years.
They measure roughly 7cm by 5cm by 6cm.
What were the tubes that they contain?
What were the tubes for?

Vent Tubes

As Falcon states they are indeed for "Tubes Vent" and would have been used on the 5.5" inch gun.

It is almost a cut off .303 cartridge.

Might even be able to find you another tin Dave !

Seems like I will only have one more bottom part then !
Will have a good look see just in case any got missed.
From the last public firings of the 5.5" inch guns at larkhill-forget what date, but it was many years ago sadly.
