Picked up this unknown 37 mm shell from recent local gun show. On left in pictures is an ordinary Russian shell.

The shell is totally unmarked. Fuze thread inside diameter is 26mm and outside about 28mm, pitch is 16/". Russian shell has fuze inside diameter 25mm and outside about 27mm, pitch is the same 16/".

On bottom of the shell seems to be a pressed-in plug, however inside the shell is closed, thus not to plug the rear opening. Bottom thicknes is 10,5 mm and thus the plug must be very short.

Also fuze thread is short, 9mm compared to Russian which is 19 mm long.

Any ideas?
