Hi! They sent me this image, but I don't know what it is exactly... the stabilizing fins look like pneumatic mortars, but I have no idea... it looks like some kind of stabilizer for some aquatic instrument, but like I said, I have no idea... the two holes you see are not through holes.

Here is the French pneumatic mortar bomb for comparison.

Hi Alan1! I think they said about 20cm. At first, I thought about one of them, but the stabilizers are different, and the way they attach to the body also changes...

I asked him for some more information and he told me that it weighs 1 kg and a little more and the diameter is 8 to 9 cm (I don't know if he measured it with a caliper, ruler or by eye).

Official dimensions are 230mm (total length) x 59.3mm (head diameter)
 
Well then it's either a different model or a poorly made replica because there's quite a difference between 60 and 80/90mm...

Why is an 81 mm one too big for messages? I don't know. They actually offered it to me, but if I don't see the model clearly, I don't think I'd buy it.

Ask the saler a picture with a scale, It's a nice round, uncommon (I think original).

Hi! Thanks Minenaz16 for the picture! I asked him about the measurement, and he said he measured it with an eye! Then he measured it with a tape measure (he didn't have a caliper), and he said it was approximately 6 cm. Well, when I started looking for information and saw it was pneumatic, I only saw pictures of the regular ones. I didn't see any of this one until you posted that picture!

I looked on the website, and it says it has a fuse on the stabilizing fins. I suppose it's for the smoke version? Or did the message ones also have them (to see where they fell?)
 
Yes, there is a fuze in tail fins to initiate smoke composition in the main body. The message is in a small cavity in the heavy head.
 
Well... I've been busy this week (with my mom's health issues... chemotherapy, and what's next). Okay, let's change the subject... I'll post some photos to brighten our eyes! Thanks so much for helping me identify the piece!
