Hi Guys,

Any thoughts on what this was used for - some sort of toy?

Interesting on what the front end hand /knob was used for - retract the wheels?

I think it is a clockwork toy. The hole on the left I suspect is for a key, and the lever would be to stop/start the mechanism.
