Hello...
Can anyone shed light on this please?
USA had various AA, AT and AFV guns in this calibre.

It is a standard 90 x 600R case that has been reworked into the outer part of a sub-caliber device.
Missing is the internal barrel and breech for .22" rimfire .
This will have been for training (or possibly spotting ?).

WHY DOES IT HAVE A BROAD ARROW ?
Would the British have used these guns at any time?
In Korea? Or ?

Yes i would also appreciate more information.
The barrel inserts for sub-calibre use come in a variety of calibres.
.22 seems smaller than usual. They were sometimes .303 British (Commonwealth use).
USA used .30-40 Krag and i think .30-06 later. And so on.
