I was mainly after the decorated case, is any one familiar with the style of crown used, it is not the King or Queens style, but I have seen similar perhaps on City or Ports coats of arms - or is it merely decorative. I expect the 1pr projectile to be unmarked and perhaps a reject ? I'm hoping the casing on the base is useful but I think the projectile is something decorative.

I'm sure anxious to see closeups of the ribbed band. I hope it turns out to be something undiscovered or lost in history and not trench art.

And the answer is ----

A cigar lighter in the style of a Russian 37mm, using a Russian case. Professionally made
from the looks of it.
