wooden 40mm bofors projectile

I wondered if anyone could help me, I have a few 40mm bofors cases and I was sure I saw a few years ago a photo of wooden projectiles in either drill or dummy rounds. Does anyone have a photo or a drawing with dimensions I would like to turn some on my wood lathe just to put in the empty cases until I can get something better/correct to put in them

I have searched the internet but not found any photo's.

Hi Richard, did you try a search on this forum? Plenty of photos on here. If you look at the pdf's out of the handbook it gives the projectile dimensions.

Hi pea shooter

If you visit antiquearmoury.net and click on inert ammo and then go to "resin replicas" he has 40 mm L60 projectiles painted and all. From memory there only about 5 or 6. Hope this helps
