Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Bombatorium

Just returned from a trip to the US, where amongst other things, i managed visit both the Bombatorium and the US Airforce museum at Dayton and meet up with fellow members, US Subs and Chris.

Great photos Pete. The USAF Museum is a tremendous collection but is a bit cramped and dark. I'm sure many of the aircraft are lit the way they are for dramatic effect but it makes it hard to take clear photographs, especially of things tucked under the wings like bombs and rockets. You did a super job. US Subs is a great host and I'm sure you enjoyed the visit.
