Kazemat 5 cm no 2.

Hello,

I recently found this case, it happened to be a 5 cm kazemat no 2, a Dutch round.
The size is 50 mm on top, 77 mm at the bottom and the length is about 332-333 mm.

It is Dutch, for the 5 cm Kazemat gun.

Is it a rare shell? or quite common?

The symbols at the 12:00 & 9:00 positions indicate the case was made by the Dutch company Hembrug: http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/86715-Unknown-maker?

Not that rare in The Netherlands, but collectable. These cases also exist as German made C/95 (steel and brass) and Dutch navy/coastal defense cases.
