WW1 Gas/Smoke ID Help

Hey Guys
Looking to ID this US grenade that was posted in another forum. What throws me off is the ports in upper body.
Anyway, any help is MUCH appreciated!

Hmmmm. Went and looked at mine and TGRM. Nothing in the book on your example. Mine's got ruffles vs smooth on the bottom half. Ports are similar. Mine is, I think, a Gas Hand Grenade, KJ, Mk 2. Might be a CN Mk V

Hey Rick,
Yea it is a little puzzling. What I could find either matched the ports or the body, not both.
Lex's site had a drawing of a MK 2 FM Smoke that had similar body, but again no ports.
Starting to run outta resources on my end( I gotta get me a copy of US EDITION /TGRM at least)
Anywho, thanks for looking Rick & if ya find anything, please post.
