Hi All,

I need help identifying a WW1 German shell-case. The diameter of this shell case is 140mm approx. and the height is 705mm. The shell case is straight with no neck at the top. On the base it is stamped" POLTE, MAGDEBURG, Oct 1917" with a small "37" at the top and a small "Sp406" stamped on the lower area. I would be grateful for any info regarding this shell!
