Thought i would post this WW2 German 13mm i have just finished,,
I guess its not really a restoration more of a frankenstein save.
It came to me cut in half and rusty (see pics), I trimmed the cut edges back and using my new mini lathe (chinas finest :tinysmile_eyebrow_t) i turned a piece of wood to fit in the centre careful to make sure the final result was the right size of a full cartridge
Now i know some might be appalled that i have made something that more than likely never existed but i think now its better than the two sad rusty halves and looks good as a decorative/example of a 13mm round.
