here are few ww2 german 8 cm mortar shells. THEY ARE ALL INERT.
They have been found few tears ago in Germany in an ammunition experimental factory.
All contain a kind of tar and have markings telling inert (Bl = Blindgeladene = inert) on fuzes or bodies; OK for that.
But, why these shells have not a charges tail? They are shortest than original ones.
I am still looking for what it was supposed to be.
