WWI German m1917n/A practice egg grenade

I wanted to start this thread in the hope of seeing members variants of the German WWI m1917n/A practice egg variants (placement of smoke charge holes etc). I had 2 different ones but sold one to another BOCN member. This one has 4 equally spaced holes above the grip ring. The eggs with holes below the grip ring will typically have 3 equally spaced holes. Some have no holes and are just painted red. Also there are original black painted eggs with holes. there must be scores of variants and my goal here is to get members to picture what they may have in their collections. One red practice egg came in every case of 50 live ones so on a rarity scale one might say 50 to 1. Come on guys let's see 'em.......Dano
