first one ive seen like this.why would anyone want or feel the need to paint it yellow il might never know .who ever did made a good job .the paint itself is quite thick and a well even spray (not a spray can job) in satin finish .not sure if to strip it. cheers .Darrol.
Sounds like it supposed to be there then, if it's a good (factory) paint job. Better leave it on for now just in case, I'm sure someone must have come across one like this before.
