Your opinion about a german Nebel StiehlHandGranate ?

Hello.
Can you give please, your opinion on a German Nebel StiehlHandGranate that a friend recently got ?
This grenade is really superb, empty, never filled, paint seems original, stamped in the metal ....

So new, can it be a repro ? Or can it be an original never filled , used as a deco or demonstration ?

The wooden handle looks different from the models I know, where the igniter is located.
You can see in a photo an explosive grenade handle (left) and the handle of this Nebel grenade (right).

to me, it is clearly a repro. Quite a few of those repros are left to rust and then sold at a high price as well-preserved finds.
