
These are bombs dropped during the Yugoslavian air raid on Graz in 1941 - apparently from a Blenheim (though it could have been a Do-17)
The bombs did not explode - a probable explanation is that due to the tactic used by the Yugoslav pilots (fast attack at very low altitude - 50-60m) the fuzes had not enough time to arm. The low altitude of release explains also why these bombs did not break.
By the look of the bombs, it may well be that these were centrifugal nose fuzes (the fins seem to be slightly at angle with the longitudinal axis of the bomb, but this may be a visual bias)
Can someone identify these bombs - they must be in the 100-150kg order range (Blenheim could indeed take 4 of these, as could the Do17K) - however these are not the 106kg Stankovic bombs that look quite different
