2cm 20mm

Post some more of your headstamps here. A good place to start for the headstamps (but by no means a comprehensive list) is here. Most stuff up to around .50 Cal is in there.

http://cartridgecollectors.org/headstampcodes.htm

This is also a good site for headstamps (all in Spanish but still very useful as there are photos). Just select the type of primer, Most will be "Fuego Central" (Centre fire), then calibre category tye round in question falls into eg.
::.>11.4 a 19mm/.75" for .50 BMG, .50 Vickers, .55 Boys Etc.
Then scroll down the list of calibres. Most common stuff up to 20mm and a few above are there.

There is a diagram with measurements and some photos of different examples of the round. Then list of photos of headstamps with the maker they correspond to. The info is in Spanish can easily be copied and pasted into google and translated.

I hope those 2 sites help.
If you post the headstamps to all of the rounds you showed I wouldn't mind IDing them for you.

What annoys me is the lack of info on anything over 20mm.

I find searching for stuff in antique shops, at car boot sales etc. much more interesting than buying at fairs and off the net, as you never know what you will find and where.

I collect mainly inert UK Military small arms ammo, International .50 cal to 20mm stuff and some 20-30mm, but have a fair few examples of foreign military ammo, hunting ammo and large calibre shell cases. I started collecting 4 years ago when I was still at school.

Thanks for that ive bookmarked those sites and will have a look soon will post some more sub 20mm calibre rounds shortly.

Thanks falcon
