It was amongst some stuff i was selling for a pal who doesnt do computers.

The many vary variants of barrel carriers are reasonably common, but the cleaning rods that were contained within are not!! To have had one with both was a good find. I hope you got a good price for it!!

The sight I had went to a chap in Australia a while back. I used to have Mg08, years back, on Sled & ersatz mount & 08/15 & Parabellum. But then the accessories were much harder to find than now it seems.
This ID plate is my sole German Maxim item on hand now.

Shame the sight has gone. You had a parabellum!!! Now that is truly in the 'rare' category! MG08/15 items obviously surface more often than MG08 but neither are in the rare category if one considers the US live firing community.
