PICATINNY ARSENAL INSPECTION & ASSEMBLY OF FUZES 2023-07-29

PICATINNY ARSENAL TENTATIVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSPECTION & ASSEMBLY OF THE FOLLOWING FUZES is a detailed in house training manual produced by the Picatinny Arsenal in 1941. Picatinny Arsenal was a U.S Army loading plant. This manual thus gives a very detailed in depth overview of the general inspection and assembly of the following fuzes; Artillery & Mortar Fuzes M-48 M-51 M-52 M-53 M-54 M-55 M-56 Bomb Fuzes M-103 M-106 and Boosters M-20 M-21. Produced for inspectors and supervisors.

It gives a very interesting insight and understanding of the life story of the fuzes in your collection. Even thought this is American, the same processes would be simular to that of other nations.

I hope that this and the other Picatinny manuals that I will upload will help to give a bit of background to those inanimate objects within your collections.
