Japanese Navy 5th Year Nose Fuze with Gaine as used on the 8, 12 and 14 cm projectiles. This fuze was made in May 1942 at Kure Naval Arsenal.

Weight stamped on the drive band - 4.845 kg.
Fuze - Army Type 89 Powder Time. A rare example of inter use of ordnance between the two services.
Japanese Navy 76.2 mm H.E. A.A Round as used in the Type 3 Year 8cm/40 Dual Purpose Gun and the Type 88 8cm/40 Dual Purpose Gun.
Case was made by the Kure Naval Arsenal in October 1938.
