One of the best air disaster movies ever made https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16410984/. Based on a true story, it is a miscommunication when in 1981 a Soviet bomber collided with a small regional Aeroflot passenger aircraft. Gory and very realistic, the actual collision scene will shake you up. Not for the faint of heart. And amazingly shows ammo (a flare gun).
P.S. The movie title is a mistranslation. It needs to be "Alone"

Someone posted the ENTIRE movie here https://m.ok.ru/video/5204561236313 but it has NO subtitles. The story is pretty simple and I guess one can watch it without understanding the language. A young couple board a plane, it gets hit by a much bigger military plane, it falls down and everyone but ONE girl dies, she is wounded and alone in a wild Siberian forest. The rescue effort people do NOT expect anyone survive a fall from such a tremendous height, so when a rescue helicopter sees a moving alive girl, they think she is a cook from a nearby prison camp. Eventually someone local says that there are NO female cooks at the camp, and a more vigorous effert ensues. Happened in 1981.
At the very least watch the actual collision at 8:20
