1 pounder how old is old?

I'm sure there's been a thread on this somewhere but I can't find it.
1 pounders really aren't my area of expertise but I thought a 1879 one to be quite old.
Anyone seen earlier for a 1 pounder?
Last pic shows the base of the case on the inside to show how its fixed together.

That is a very respectable case, I have none of that age. It is also French Navy issue with the anchor, does the projectile have
an anchor stamped on the base ? I wish I could find a couple of them. These stayed in French service as long as they were
usable. What is the fuze like ?
