Hello,
and here a re-painted and restored inert 105mm rocket-assisted HE-projectile, German made during late WW II. The rocket propellant is located in the top part of the projectile and is activated by the mech. time nose fuze. The HE-explosive charge is located in the base and is initiated by a special designed base fuze, which I will introduce separately in the "fuze" section on BOCN.
Enjoy the images!!

Excellent.

What a beauty that is and in such excellent condition, is the re-paint job exactly how the original colour would have been ?

painting on 10,5cm

Hi Chris,
no the paint is probably some darker in original then on the restaurated projectile and for sure not as glossy too. This is just a guess since I don't know the original paint terms of it.
