There is currently a pic of a 100lb practice bomb(not wrapped,stamps stuck to the outside) sent through the US Postal system in the '60's, on Ebay.
It was rejected as some of the stamps had fallen off!.How times change.
I had enough problems delivering that one to central London. It was well covered but drew a large crowd of spectators as soon as I started to unload it from my trailer. Fortunately I had all the necessary paperwork with it from the MoD.
