I picked this up at a local car boot, i don't normally collect containers or packing but it seemed to be in good condition and pretty complete. Suppose i should keep an eye out for something to put in it now.

Thats pretty cool! Never seen one before. Now you totally need to find an inert example to put inside to complete it. I've seen the projectile come up for sale over the years. Nice score!
I saw one of the practise projectiles for this calibre at a car boot about ten years ago. I didn't buy it as it was being sold by a militaria seller who knew what it was, so was priced accordingly.
This says there must be some out there. The cases used to be fairly common.
