105mm used in what ?

Investment

Hi,

Would any members know what this piece is

The writing on it says "105MM TK APDS SX 509 GF T".

I can only guess at what some of the lettering means, so I'll leave it to the experts to positively ID it.

Thanks,

Invest :)

hi Invest, the 105mm was developed for the Centurion tank but was adopted by many countries. They may still be being manufactured by Royal Ordnance against overseas contracts - they certainly were up to a few years ago. Dave

APDS Armour Piercing Discarding Sabot. as for the rest of the lettering i dont know, and the rest has been taken care of by Rickoshea.
