11.5cm WW1 shell for ID please French?

good evening, please see the attached photo of an HE shell that I have but am unable to identify. Its base measurement, not including the drive band, is 11.5cm diameter and its length without fuze 35cm. The fuze has no markings other than the number 84. It looks French but is of an odd calibre.

any thoughts?

It's a French 120mm model 1878 "ordinaire" (common),
with fuze 30-45 "siège et montagne" model 1881
