12 pounder 12 CWT - Brass Plate question

Andy Naude

Found this brass plate this morning. Can any one tell me more about it. I believe that it would have been used for the 12 Pounder 12 CWT gun in 1917. But what about all the other information on the plate?

Thank you for looking.

Hi Andy, very nice find, I have a 12pdr naval training mounting plate from 1903, and various other ones too They are not common. The info is pretty much what it says, I wish there was a way of linking the admiralty no to its history and where it was mounted. Look at the Navweaps site for a little more info.Tig.
