Hi to all,
Looking for any info on these 13x64B rounds I picked up today, one is supposed to be ball(I suspect AP) the projectile seems to be solid steel? and is marked nhr 199/44,the headstamp is 342 am 44,primer nhr 407 J25,the other came as a 13mm HET,high explosive tracer?projectile is marked blf? 2 k 43 folded winged eagle over 84 in a box, brass screw in/out tip is marked 406 folded winged eagle over 67 in a box 1532 eds 43 and headstamped 212 awt 44,primer nhr 410 J2t.
Both are brass plated/washed steel case,I know they are WW2 German aircraft rounds but that is about all I do know,so any info on these and what they were used in would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Tony

Mg 131

They are for the MG 131. Just Google MG131, there is a ton of data out there.

Regards

They are for the German MG 131-13 Aircraft cannon, AP and HE, nice condition, i even think these are coming from me, the AP projectile is solid steel, with tracer. the tracer is build inside the projectile, there should be a hole in the base the color of the tracer is white. (tracer is gone) the tracer is protected with a very thin aliminium disk,

Thanks for the info ben,i also have two of these nice little rounds
