15 cm sFH 18 shell case

Hi all,

I recently got this 15 cm sFH 18 shell case, but is has a primer that i hadn't seen before. Can somebody tell me more about it?

One of mine also had one of those. Other one had a brass c/12 na primer. I think both work in the same way. Also says c/12 na on it too.

thanks for the info. i've only found pictures of these shells with those brass primers. are these steel versions less common?

No, they are used all over and all kinds of types.

Yea. True. Ive seen them in naval cases and al sorts. Ive also got a c/12 primer with the 3 slots that’s also steel.
