Greetings from California I'm hoping someone can determine if this 150mm shell is British or American. It measures six inches across the diameter of the base and is nineteen inches in height. Their are no Naval marking on it.
Thanks

Hello orcutteod,

You have a WWI era U.S. shrapnel projectile with its 45 second combustion time fuze. Depending on the accuracy of your dimensions, it's either a 155mm or 6-inch howitzer shell.

Best regards,

Randall
