Howdy guys!
What could you tell me about that case, is it even Canet?
Dimensions: 162x500. Head 181.
Is this short case been used in some cannon? Maybe it´s only been for decorative use.

Cases should be 920, 1088 or 1116 mm long for different existing 15,2 cm Schneider-Canet cases. The case is Russian made but Finnish re-used. I am afraid this one is shortened as you expected.

LOL. Are you EOD? When I visited Dutch EOD museum I was allowed to turn cases to see the head stamp and most of the time I was covered in ashes as they all used it mainly for that ;-).
