152MM Possibly Finnish

Originally German but overhauled in Finland 1952. Nomenclature A5530 152 akr rj 50/60-Np/23
152 = caliber
akr = filling ( Amatol )
rj = iron driving band
50/60 = fuze pocket size
Np/23 = booster charge
These were used with captrured Soviet howizers 37 and 37-40
Markings belov driving band are not original, but stamped when it has been sold as inert.

Do you know how they overhauled it? Or was it just marking it for their use?

According to manuals all foreign ordance remained in their original shape and markings, until there was a reason to overhaul them.
Light overhaul was done so that just outer surface was cleaned and repainted + new stencils.
Large overhaul was done to that the charge was first molten out of the shell, then it was sandblast and inner and outer surfaces were repainted, filled and stenciled.
Total weight of shell with fuze was 46 kilos. HE charge weight was 4,8 kilos. This was rather low as in various original Soviet HE sells charge was + - 6 kilos.
