Does anyone have a photograph of a Clarke bottle from a 15cm projectile?

Thanks

Pete

As I recall they were ceramic at that size. I don't think they survived impact as well as the glass.

Hi
The bottle in the 15 cm Gr 12 n/a was in glass and in excellent condition after impact (if the shell was not destroyed) (see on Xray pictures and in a shell we have collected)

That is very different from what I understood in Poelkapelle. Any pictures that you can share?

I have a picture of a glass container that i was told came from a 15cm projo, but as US Subs says, we were lead to believe they were easily broken on impact and ceramic.

Hi
I'll try to take a picture of glass bottle in the 15 cm gr 12n/a that we have without the top part explosive.
I hope it could be not too difficult to take it throw the eye shell ...

Hi Doctor,

Did you ever manage to take a photograph of the glass container in the 15cm projectile?

Cheers

Pete
